About Me
A qualified practitioner with a passion for helping others
I have been working with adults and young people bringing a range of issues, in Edinburgh, for a number of years. I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical framework: https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ethical-framework-for-the-counselling-professions/

For as long as I can remember I have been interested in what happens between people, what happens in relationship. This lead to my study of Psychology and Sociology, and eventually, to Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma, in Counselling, from the University of Edinburgh.

I am a therapist at Wellspring centre for counselling and psychotherapy. I also spent a year working with young people in a local Edinburgh secondary school.

Through my process of becoming a practitioner, of working with adults and young people, of engaging with therapy myself, I have found a passion for this work. I have also found meaning, purpose, and that people can change.
